Accounts Preparation
Every business must produce accounts, be they Limited Companies, Partnerships or Sole Traders. Accounts are required for a number of reasons, these can include HM Revenue and Customs to support the calculation of tax payable, or other stakeholders that have an interest in your business such as banks, investors or suppliers and not forgetting your customers.
If your business is a Limited Company a statement of your accounts must be filed annually at Companies House, this is required by law.
Clients Accounts can prepared from a variety of records, this ranges from source records kept in a box requiring full creation to the re-formatting of clients computerised records that and consolidating for submission.
Tax and Self Assessment
From the accounts a tax computation is prepared. The relevant individual, partnership or corporate tax return is completed which details the amount of tax payable or refundable.  Any tax planning matters will be discussed with the client and advice given. Joseph Louis Limited also has access to specialists who, if necessary and on recommendation, can provide advice on more complex tax issues. Joseph Louis Limited will only recommend such services if we think there is a definite benefit to the client. Joseph Louis Limited also deals with HM Revenue and Customs on clients behalf so they can be safe in the knowledge that everything has been taken care of and that they are fully compliant.
Payroll, VAT Returns and Company Secretarial Services
Although some clients can and do deal with their payroll, VAT and Company Secretarial matters themselves, Joseph Louis Limited can also provide these services to enable clients to concentrate more on the day to day running and development of their business.
Again, the extent of any involvement of Joseph Louis is up to the client and their individual needs.
Joseph Louis Limited can also provide initial training and on going support to assist clients in developing and/or maintaining a comprehensive in-house capability.
